KIND-hearted Bury Lions were certainly on their marks when they raised £1,000 to help towards the cost of the Junior Games for the Disabled.
Members sold trolley-dash and tombola tickets over a five-day period at Asda Pilsworth to collect the cash.
The Junior Games for the Disabled were held at Stanley Park in Blackpool, and attracted competitors from all over the country.
Bury Lions members Jacqui Sorfleet and Jacqui Adler travelled to the event to present the £1,000 cheque to Gordon Weale, chief executive of Sports Disability England which organised the Games.
