ATTRACTIVE football wasn't high on Ramsbottom United's agenda in midweek.
But manager Derek Egan will be happy to witness repeat performances if it leads to the same results.
The Rams chief was delighted to celebrate a 1-0 win over high flying Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night, despite admitting his side had not played particularly well.
"We rode our luck once or twice but we ground out a result and worked really hard for it," Egan said.
"I told them they will play better than that and lose this season, but hopefully they can get confidence from the result because every game at the moment is a new experience for the players."
Egan added that he was enjoying the benefits of his squad rotation system, but he has been forced into making at least two changes for tomorrow's FA Vase first qualifying round game at home to Shotton Comrades.
Chris Mackay and Gareth Brooks are out this weekend, while Adam Kozlowski and Chris Skarratt have picked up knocks.
