I HAVE just timed my journey to work and a part of that has taken me 20 minutes just to pass down Canterbury Street on the orbital route to the Royal Infirmary.
Now I know we are unusual in Blackburn in having an 'out of town' shopping centre in the town and a ring road that passes through the town rather than round it, but surely we would phase the traffic lights so that there is a smooth flow of traffic rather than having cars static at every set, increasing pollution.
