THE ward nobody wanted -Fernhurst, which has been deemed to be part of Rossendale and Darwen constituency - is clearly on the Blackburn side of the old border between the County Borough of Blackburn and the Municipal Borough of Over Darwen.
Because Ms Anderson's seat is less secure than that of her neighbour, then I as a Tory voter am happy.
Nevertheless I cannot help wondering why this decision was made. I do not suppose that the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs cares -- he has got what he wanted. Should we care though?
