BACUP Borough manager Brent Peters has swooped to sign former Bury startlet Lee Connell.
The midfielder is expected to make his debut tonight when Bacup entertain Congleton Town at West View (kick-off 7.45pm).
Steve Stott is still sidelined with a broken arm and Gary Lloyd is unavailable after surgery.
Phil Baylis is also doubtful with an ankle injury.
