A MAN has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 19-year-old woman who was attacked after leaving a nightclub last month.
The teenager had left Barbarella's in Leigh in the early hours of Sunday, February 20 when she was punched in the face before being dragged through the town centre and raped in an alleyway.
The woman then was hit repeatedly by the attacker and was taken to hospital where she received treatment for a broken jaw.
Detectives arrested a 22-year-old Atherton man in Bolton last weekend in connection with the attack.
