WITH two weeks to go until Good Friday's 'Fill the Ground Day' at Gigg Lane, there's still a massive incentive for the fan or business/organisation that sells the most tickets for the visit of Grimsby Town.

Each hard-working recruiter will receive a meal for two at the England v Northern Ireland World Cup qualifier at Old Trafford the following day, Saturday, March 25 as well as an England shirt, signed by Bury supporter and Manchester United star Gary Neville.

Shakers' fans and people throughout the borough are being urged to bring as many friends, relatives and work colleagues in a bid to swell the crowd to the 12,000 capacity and help the club celebrate 120 years at Gigg Lane, as well as raising some much-needed revenue.

With only a handful of other fixtures on the day, due to the international qualifying games that weekend, there is expected to be a superb response from fans all over the country wishing to make the one-off occasion.

"We really need everyone to give the event a big push over the next two weeks," said Bury FC commercial boss Peter Young.

"Even if people only come to one Bury game a season it would be great if they got down for this one.

"We have 2,000 regular supporters and if each of those sold a couple of tickets to family, friends or workmates we'd be halfway there.

"It should be a really great atmosphere if fans from other clubs throughout the league come along, as they are promising, and playing their part on the day."

Ticket order forms can now be obtained from Peter who can be contacted on 0161-705 2144.

Meanwhile, tickets are on sale from the main reception at Gigg Lane from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, and on matchdays from the family ticket office window from 9am to 2pm and 4.45pm to 5.45pm.

Tickets purchased prior to the day of the match are priced at a cut price £10 for adults and £2 for concessions, but prices on the day of the game will be normal matchday prices, subject to availability.
