IN the last few days, I have received word about the massive rise I will receive in my pension in April - all £1.44 of it.
This Government gives us the extra with one hand then takes it away with the other. This paltry bit extra will soon be used up once the council tax bill arrives.
We pensioners are always at the back of the queue when it comes to any extra money. We can't go on strike so we have to have what is handed down to us. The people who sneak into this country probably draw much more than pensioners who paid taxes for years before they retired.
One thing for sure is that we will know where to put our cross when the election comes. We pensioners may be old - but we are not stupid.
