CULCHETH WI will learn about "Microlighting for the Retired" from Noel Adams at their 2pm meeting on Tuesday.
At the last meeting they were taught the art of spontaneous speech making thanks to three members of the North Cheshire Speakers' Club.
The organisation is a branch of the Association of Speakers' Clubs and is dedicated to helping people from all walks of life to achieve speaking confidence by self help and support. Members were given the chance to try out their methods and were suitably impressed.
An open day will take place in September to raise funds for the group's expenses and money raising ideas will be welcome.
The ladies are off on a snowdrop walk near Congleton this month.
