POLICE are investigating the alleged kidnapping of a 44-year-old man from the Beaufort area of Bacup.
Paul Brady of Rochdale, was last seen on Saturday, August 1 with police being alerted to the incident at 2.10pm following a call from a member of the public.
His whereabouts are still unknown and the inquiry continues to secure his safe release.
Police are appealing for anyone with information that may assist in establishing his whereabouts to contact Burnley Police Station on 0845 125 3545 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
Paul Devalda, 34, of Padiham Road, Burnley, has been charged with conspiracy to kidnap. He appeared at Burnley Magistrates Court where he was remanded in custody.
