ELAINE Cosgrove, chair of the Worsthorne BMX Group and Police Community Support Officer, Dave Johnson, have worked very hard over the last few months to ensure the BMX Track on the recreation ground was completed in time for the summer holidays.
Young people from the village with BMX bikes have a safe place to play.
Over the last few months over £13,000 has been raised with money coming from the borough council and Lancashire County Council.
Under the supervision of CPSO Johnson the young people of the village raised several thousands pounds for the project.
