THE Minister of Health is to answer questions put to him by an East Lancashire MP regarding the A&E department of Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Labour MP Gordon Prentice has asked MP Ben Bradshaw to reveal the discussions he has had with the North West Strategic Health Authority and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust on its recent performance figures for the accident and emergency department at the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Mr Bradshaw said he will be writing to Mr Prentice to outline the action being taken from the Strategic Health Authority and the health trust.
