One of the UK’s top Beatles tribute acts is swinging its way into East Lancashire later this week.

Performing to sell-out venues for more than 20 years, The Upbeat Beatles have more than earned their reputation as one of the finest tributes to the music of The Beatles.

The band first performed at St Mary’s Chambers in Rossendale in 2022, and the show was such a success that the team couldn’t wait to bring them back.

A spokesperson for the venue said: “The band performed for us in 2022 and the band were incredibly well received and we have wanted to bring them back to the venue ever since.

“The team felt that The Upbeat Beatles were one of the best tributes to The Beatles that we had ever seen and it was a fantastic show.

“The band are seasoned professionals and deliver a powerhouse performance featuring the very best hits of the fabulous four.”

Paying homage to what some consider to be the ‘greatest band in history’, The Upbeat Beatles will take the crowd at St Mary’s Chambers on a journey through The Beatles’ career, from the early days of Beatlemania, playing hits like She Loves You, and I Want To Hold Your Hand, across the Atlantic to conquer the USA, with songs Help! and Ticket To Ride.

The band will also help music lovers escape the 21st century with a trip down memory lane through the 60s ‘summer of love’ and psychedelia, belting out tunes such as Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Strawberry Fields Forever, before coasting down the Long and Winding Road to the end of the 1960s, for The Beatles’ final live performance as a group, with Get Back, and Come Together.

With authentic instruments, costume changes, multimedia, and featuring an ensemble cast of professional musicians with West End experience, this two-hour spectacular is set to be a show-stopper for Beatles fans new and old.

The Upbeat Beatles will perform at St Mary’s Chambers on Friday March 22.
