One person has suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle collision in Rossendale.
Two fire crews from Bacup responded to the incident on Rochdale Road, Bacup just after 5pm today (December 23).
One person was freed from a vehicle by the fire crews, and was cared for by the North West Ambulance Service.
Firefighters remained on the scene for around an hour to make sure the area was safe.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 5.08pm on December 23 2023, two fire engines from Bacup attended a road traffic collision involving two cars on Rochdale Road, Bacup.
“Firefighters extricated of one casualty who was handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service.
“Crews were in attendance approximately for one hour.”
