A WIDNES man who drove a van while disqualified from having a licence has been sentenced.
Keith Cosgrove, 46, was banned from the road for 12 months as he appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on September 9.
Cosgrove had pleaded guilty in an earlier hearing to driving a white Vauxhall Combo panel van on Kirkland Street, St Helens on May 11 this year, while disqualified.
At his sentencing Cosgrove was given a community order and must do up to 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
Cosgrove, of Keble Street, Widnes, was also made to do 120 hours of unpaid work and over the next 12 months.
He must pay a £95 surcharge and £120 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
