A new picture has emerged of Coronation Street actor, Sam Aston, and his one-year-old son, Sonny – and people can’t get over their likeness.
Briony Aston, Sam's wife and co-owner of Happy Baby Studio in Crawshawbooth, posted the picture to her Instagram page with the caption: “Everyone says he looks just like his daddy, I just don’t see it”.
In the picture, the pair are smiling next to each other as they enjoy a family holiday together – and it’s hard to ignore their similar appearance.
One person commented: “Aww you guys are the double of each other. Like daddy like son! Have a fantastic holiday.”
Another called Sonny a “mini Chez”, in reference to Sam’s Coronation Street Character, Chesney Brown.
“Oh my God, he is your identical mini you,” said another.
A fourth commenter tagged their friend and said: “Have you ever seen a child look that much like their daddy?”

“His double… I don’t think they could be any more alike” said another.
Sam and Briony, who live in Rossendale, welcomed Sonny into the world in August 2020.
Sam, 28, shared a photo of his newborn son to Instagram, writing: “Welcome to the world little man. Our little ray of sunshine. Sonny James Aston”.
Briony is currently pregnant with their second child. The baby girl is expected this spring.
