A MAN has stepped forward to help police in an investigation into upskirting.
At around 5pm on March 24 a man was said to have approached several teenage girls at a bus stop in Waterfoot and taken pictures with the camera pointing up their skirts.
The man was challenged and left the scene.
Now a man who police wanted to speak to in relation to the incident has stepped forward.
PC Dave Baker said: “We believe someone will recognise this man and can assist with our investigation into suspected upskirting offences in Waterfoot.
“I would also make a direct appeal to him, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch and contact me directly.”
Anyone with information can call 101 or email 3365@lancashire.police.uk quoting log reference 1464 of March 24.
