A GASTROPUB has brought back a popular takeaway menu they first trialled in lockdown.

The Freemasons at Wiswell, near Clitheroe, has re-launched its Stateside menu which it first brought out during lockdown last month.

For starters, diners can choose from buffalo hot chicken wings or BBQ spare ribs.

The mains include a New York hotdog or an aged beef burger and desserts include a New York cheesecake.

Steven Smith, chef owner at The Freemasons at Wiswell said: “We ran our Stateside menu last month and it was incredibly popular, selling out in a matter of days, so it felt only natural to bring it back one more time.

Freemasons at Wiswell chef owner Steve Smith

"While takeaway isn’t something we’ve ever done before lockdown, it’s given us something to focus on and helped us to keep in touch with customers these last few months which has been great.

"The Stateside menu is something we’ve had a lot of fun with, with the likes of Buffalo Hot Chicken Wings, New York Street Hotdog and Wagyu Beef Burger, Lancashire Cheese and Salt & Pepper Fries."
