POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a group of men have been injured while fighting at a park.

On Saturday, April 3, it was reported that around 3.30pm on Higher Clough Park in Burnley, a group of young men were aged from 10-30 were fighting.

A spokesman for police said: "We are appealing for information regarding an incident of disorder that occurred on Saturday 3rd April 2021 around 15:30hrs on Higher Clough Park located off Harold Street, Burnley.

"A report was made to the police of a group of young males fighting on the park. We believe there could be over 20 males involved in the fight between the ages of 10- 30 years old.

"As a result of this, a number of males have ended up with serious injuries.

"There were a significant amount of people on the park at the time that may have witnessed this incident. We are urging anyone with any information about who was involved to come forward."
