A man who allegedly committed sexual assault offences on three children and a woman will stand trial next year.

In March 2020, police arrested a man at Lancaster Train Station in connection with sexual assault offences on three young girls, one aged 12 and two aged 13.

He was also arrested in relation to a sexual assault on a woman in a separate incident.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "In March last year we arrested a male at Lancaster Station for sexual assault on three female children (aged 12, 13 and 13 years) and on an adult female (in separate incident).

"He was summonsed to court in November.

"On Friday a trial date was set for November 2022."
