OFFICERS are patrolling a residential area after a man walked into a stranger’s home on Saturday night.

Reports were received by officers in Burnley after a man walked into a house on Mayfair Road at around 10pm.

Upon seeing the occupants inside the home the man left.

PCSO Mark Hill said: “I am currently out and about on Mayfair Road Burnley this afternoon to provide reassurance and visibility to the residents as we have had a report that a male has attended an address on the road yesterday evening around 10pm.

“Please make sure that your doors are locked and secure. If you see anything further, then please call on 101 to report.”
