Burglar jailed following spate of break-ins
A BURGLAR who was involved with handling stolen goods has been jailed.
Michael Royal, from Burnley, appeared in court this week where he was sentenced to 35 months in prison after entering guilt pleas for the offences.
A police spokesman said: “Michael Royal aged 30 from the Burnley area has been sentenced to 35 months imprisonment after pleading guilty to two offences of handling stolen goods in relation to a number of burglaries across the Burnley and Pendle area.
“This is a result of a joint investigation between the Burnley and Pendle Taskforce.”
