TEACHERS living in part of the borough will be able to tuck into a well-deserved takeaway tonight from one of their local firms free of charge.

The Crofters, in Bradshaw Road, and Nam Ploy, in St George's Road, will be giving teaching staff from Bradshaw, Harwood, and Bromley Cross a free meal to say thank you for their hard work during the coronavirus pandemic.

From 4-6pm this evening, local teachers will be able to claim a free chicken or vegetable Thai green curry with rice, or a free portion of Penne Arrabiata or Penne di Pollo from the generous restaurants.

Patrons will have to collect their orders, and the offer is only available for teachers, nursery staff, living within those three areas.

People are asked to order their meals in advance, to avoid any disappointment, but meals will be available without a pre-order.

All orders must be made over the phone, and both establishments will take orders from the same number, with more details around collection available upon contact.

If you qualify, contact the firms on 01204 594386 for more information, or to order your free meal.
