A BOUTIQUE owner has reopened her virtual shop after being struck down with coronavirus.

Angela Stevens, who runs the Ruby Rose Boutique in Lee Lane, Horwich, has been recovering from covid-19 after the virus knocked her down for ten days.

After apologising to customers for her time away, the business owner is now rushing to catch up on orders from over the festive period.

She said: "I've come in to process the orders that came in over Christmas and the New Year for people to collect from the shop.

"I've got a shop full of stock that I've got to sell so I'm just going to have to try and sell it over the internet.

"We were so busy running around the shop in the run up to Christmas so my body was ready for a break anyway and then it had to fight off this as well.

"I'm absolutely exhausted, I was laid up on the sofa for ten days which is not something I'd normally do, and I didn't turn my computer on for a week. I won't be bouncing back quite as quickly."
