AN appeal has been launched after a ramraid took place on a business.

Officers were alerted to a break-in on a unit at Deanfield Industrial Estate in Clitheroe at around 9.10pm on Monday.

By the time they arrived the offenders had already left the scene and an appeal for information has now been launched.

A ramraid is typically carried out by smashing a vehicle through the wall of a building.

A police spokesman said: “Last night at approximately 21:10 a business premises on Deanfield Ind Est was subject to a ramraid.

“Due to the company’s security measures Police were quickly alerted and on scene however the offenders had made off.

“Do you have CCTV in this area or where you around this location (Deanfield, Pimlico Link Rd, Clitheroe Hospital) at the relevant time and have dashcam?

“If so please contact 7277@lancashire.pnn.police.uk”
