Tech consultancy firm IN4.0 has unveiled a deepened partnership with international banking group Barclays which will see the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce stalwart help deliver a range of of digital skills events aimed at making making the newest digital technology accessible for other businesses.

The relationship will see IN4.0 become a Pioneer Partner, meaning that the company work alongside the bank delivering mentorship, digital skills sessions and knowledge sharing with companies across the region.

This comes as an evolution of Barclays’ Eagle Labs programme which was established in 2016 and aims to give entrepreneurs the space and support to develop their ideas and now also aims to help improve access to digital technology for some of the regions most disadvantaged communities.

IN4.0 Group CEO Mo Isap said: “Barclays has been a massive supporter of the work we are doing at The Landing, which is to ensure innovation is inclusive and accessible for businesses and individuals across our great regions.

IN4.0 will be working alongside The Landing, a digital and innovation hub based in MediaCity, Salford to help deliver a range of programmes aimed at helping start-ups across the EdTech, Cyber, AI and Data Science, Mixed Reality and eSports sectors innovate and grow.

They will help firms to access and learn to use new technologies which could drastically improve business practices.

Alongside the newly deepened partnership, Barclays has said that it will share IN4.0 with The Landing’s commitment to bridging the gender gap in technology and enterprise through Skills City, a programme in which The Landing is targeting 50 per cent female tech trainees in order to drive forward gender parity.
