A PUB in Bacup is closing due to a positive coronavirus case.
The George and Dragon have said that a customer who had been in the pub in the last seven days has tested positive for the virus.
A spokesperson said: "Following the Government's guidelines we will be closing the pub from today so we can carry out a deep clean and all staff with be tested for coronavirus, we also strongly advise anyone who has been in the pub within the last week or so to also get tested.
"The customer was seated at all times and followed the social distancing rules implicated within the pub, we apologise for this unfortunate event and we want to do our best to protect our staff and customers."
There is no re-opening date set for the pub at the moment.
