A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crashing his motability car into a hedge.
Police were called on Monday evening, after receiving reports that a Ford Focus had ploughed into a hedge and a fence.
The incident happened on Cabus Nook Lane in Cabus, near Garstang, and according to officers the man driving the vehicle had been drinking and had failed to negotiate his car along a straight road.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Cabus Nook Lane, Cabus tonight.
"A drink driver fails to negotiate a straight road before he crashes his Ford Focus into a hedge/fence.
"The male was detained.
"The male had been driving his motability car. He won't get another motability car. Shame."
