WELCOME to pub of the week.
Every Saturday the Lancashire Telegraph features a local pub or bar that is at the heart of the community.
If you’s like to nominate your local or feature your pub in the paper, then email simone.okane@newsquest.co.uk.

Name of pub: Cin Cin

Address of pub: 1A Church Bank Street, Darwen.

Landlord name: Dominic Holmes.

 Lancashire Telegraph: b

Staff: Cameron Ingham, Nathan Howard, Carla May, Laura Ainsworth, Damien Smalley.

History of the pub: It used to be a bookmakers and a clothes shop at one time.

Is there a beer garden: Yes it is our latest addition. We have a relaxed vibe with some trendy furniture and a chilled-out vibe.
We have heaters and a smoking area too.

Lancashire Telegraph: ccbg

Lancashire Telegraph: custom

Most popular drink served: It has to be gin and cocktails as we are a gin and cocktail bar. A pornstar Martini is also one of our best-sellers. We like to introduce new items to our menu too.

Do you serve food? Yes. We do meat and cheese platters, or fresh olives to accompany a round of drinks. However this is not  possible at the minute as we are restricted because of the pandemic.

The best thing about running a pub is... The customers. Darwen has a great community and it’s great to meet new people. I am originally from Accrington and I love running Cin Cin. Everyone’s friendly with a good sense of community spirit. We have had some friendly people pass through the doors and they have been kind enough to leave us five-star reviews on Trip Advisor.

The worst thing about running a pub is... The weather! Sometimes the rain can put a dampener on things.

Perfect hangover cure is... A take out and Netflix, definitely.

Opening hours: Open late Thurs-Sun.
