Parents of young children are being reassured that support and advice is still available from their local public health nursing team.

Some face to face sessions are temporarily being paused due to coronavirus restrictions at this time, however, many sessions are still running virtually.

Well Baby Clinics are running virtually Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 11am, for parents who may have some concerns for their little ones where it would be helpful to see a health professional, including skin infections, rashes, speech concerns and more.

The ChatHealth text messaging service is also available and could save an unnecessary visit to a doctor and can be reached on 07507 331751.

A Bolton NHS Foundation Trust spokesman said: "The public health nursing team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is with you from birth until your child is 19 (or 25 if they have special educational needs). Their specialist teams can help with all aspects of parenting."
