Vauxhall Astra abandoned in Ribblesdale Road
A car has been seized by police after it was abandoned on a residential street.
A silver Vauxhall Astra was abandoned by its driver this evening after the police attempted to talk to them, with the car subsequently being seized.
The car was abandoned on Ribblesdale Road with the driver of the car seen by residents running towards St Helen's Road to evade police.
The incident was posted on GMP Traffic's Twitter page saying: "The driver of the Astra clearly didn't want to hang around and chat to XT14.
"He abandoned the car on Ribblesdale Road, Bolton, and was last seen by residents running towards St Helen's Road.
"Car seized and enquiries ongoing."
