As lockdown lifts and people begin life in the ‘new normal’, Costa Coffee are handing out a free £3 drink to their customers to welcome them back.
As the chain celebrates the re-opening of over 2,000 UK stores from the end of July, customers can pick their favourite coffee drink of their choice when they register with the Costa Coffee Club mobile app.
East Lancashire has several stores spread across Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley and Accrington.
Neil Lake, managing director of Costa Coffee UK & Ireland, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from our customers as we begin to re-open our stores.
“As we near our next key milestone of 2000 plus stores re-openings by the end of July, we’re delighted to treat Costa Coffee fans to a handcrafted drink, on us.
“To ensure both our customers and team members are safe we have introduced some new measures across our estate, while also maintaining the warm environment that we know they have been missing.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone through our doors to enjoy their favourite Costa Coffee drink.”
The offer is available to both current Costa Coffee Club members and to newly registered users, who will receive 300 points - equivalent of £3 - which they can spend on a drink of their choice in any participating Costa Coffee store.
If customers don’t fancy a coffee, however, the 300 bonus points can be used on any food item to the value of £3.
