INCREDIBLE pictures taken from inside a derelict warehouse show the extend of a large fire.
ROAD closures were in place as firefighters dealt with the blaze.
It is thought that the fire was set to burn 25 tonnes of bailed waste in a derelict building off Stone Bridge Lane in Oswaldtwistle on Saturday evening.
Crews from Hyndburn (including the aerial ladder platform), Blackburn, Rawtenstall, Great Harwood and the stinger from Skelmersdale were all called in to assist.
A spokesman said: “There was approximately 25 tonnes of bailed waste found to be well alight and firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two jets and the stinger capabilities to extinguish the fire.
“The drone was used to assess the roof.”
Police were in attendance to help with road closures and those living in the area were asked to keep their windows and doors closed.
