A BMW has been towed away after it’s driver – who only held a provisional licence – was caught twice in just under two weeks by police.
Officers in Burnley first tracked-down the driver after he failed to stop when asked by patrols.
On this occasions, pre-emptive tactics were used by trained officers to prevent any chance of a pursuit.
A spokesman said: “Second time in just over two weeks for this BMW 1-Series, which was seized in Burnley.
“The driver had a provisional licence and was not insured to drive the vehicle so he has been reported for summons and will appear in court in due course.”
