CORONAVIRUS has claimed the lives of 13 more people across Lancashire in recent days, the latest figures show.
A total of 815 people have now died after testing positive for the coronavirus in hospitals across the county since the pandemic began in March.
Of the latest deaths, ten were reported to NHS England by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, which operates the Royal Preston Hospital among its facilities.
The trust has now reported a total of 185 deaths.
There were no new deaths recorded within the East Lancashire Hospitals Trust, The Morecambe Bay University Hospitals Trust or the Southport and Ormskirk NHS Foundation trusts.
They have recorded total fatalities of 174, 158 and 133 respectively.
Blackpool University Teaching Hospitals have a total death toll of 165.
