A VANDALISED picnic bench at Silverdale playground has been made safe.
One of the four seats had been broken off and stolen, and a new one is to be ordered, Silverdale Parish Council was told.
Meanwhile, Cllr John Bennett told the meeting that storms had disrupted the verge-cutting schedule of Lancaster City and Lancashire County Councils. He said they hoped to complete emergency work in Silverdale by the end of March.
