Reader's letter.
ON YOUR letters page you state "Please keep your letters concise (max 400 words)", yet every week letters grossly exceed that request.
On February 27, for example, there were two letters more 600 words long each, and a third, from a councillor, which exceeded 800.
Not only were they boring but they could get their messages over in at least half their lengths.
To be fair, I do have some sympathy for you for, though at a very amateurish level, I have been editing the Colton Parish News for 25 years. It is either a feast or a famine!
