ARNSIDE and Silverdale AONB are resuming dementia-friendly walks.

After a short winter break, their weekly programme of dementia-friendly 'Walks for All' resumes on 10th March. The walks, which take place every Tuesday and are free, last no more than an hour and afterwards there is a chance to have a chat over a cuppa in one of the local cafes or pubs. So if you think you would benefit from the support of our friendly group to discover the beautiful landscape, wildlife & culture of the area, why not come along?

There is no need to book, just turn up. For further information visit our What's On page or contact the walks leader Feleena Taylor on 07474588585.

VISITORS to The Landscape Trust's Coldwell Bank reserve will discover that there are now over 300 new trees planted in one corner of the reserve to provide screening and edge-softening to the upper reaches of Coldwell Top Bank. The trees, supplied by the Woodland Trust, were planted by pupils from Arnside School and their teachers, assisted by a group of Landscape Trust volunteers in a joint project that the Trust is delighted to be part of. You can learn more about this activity on our website at newsletter@landscapetrust.org.uk.
