BURNLEY striker Nahki Wells has completed his switch to Bristol City following Josh Brownhill’s move in the opposite direction.

The 29-year-old has impressed during 18 months on loan with QPR, being recalled this week with several Championship clubs chasing his signature.

The Robins have won the race with Wells moving for an undisclosed fee and signing a three-and-a-half year deal.

He moved to Turf Moor for £5 million back in August 2017 but did not make a competitive start for the Clarets, making just 10 substitute appearances.

It is believed Burnley have recouped the majority of their outlay two-and-a-half years ago.
