A 10-hour dance party will be coming to Burnley for the first time this summer.

Retro in the Park will bring together some of the biggest names in dance music performing live on three stages in Towneley Park in July.

The festival will celebrate both the Retro and 90s Baby brands and follows three successful Retro events at Manchester’s Albert Hall.

Organisers JBM have brought in Ibiza legend Roger Sanchez to be one of the headline names on the Arena One stage. With another headliner yet to be announced, other big names who will be featuring on the stage during the event will include Hacienda regular Graeme Park, Cream resident Tall Paul, Angels and Retro champion Paul Taylor, James Semphie and Matty Robinson.

90s Baby will take over Arena 2 at the festival, so nostalgia lovers and party people alike can expect to hear a flurry of the biggest anthems from yesteryear as Scottish electronic act Nightcrawlers, best known as Push The Feeling On, headline an eclectic billing.

There will also be live performances from one of the biggest selling dance acts of the 90s - N-Trance - and chart-topping vocalist Sonique, who was behind the chart-topping single, It Feels So Good.

There will also be performances from Technotronic (MC Eric), and electronic collective K-Klass, Alex Party, JX, Happy Clappers, Katherine Ellis, Nick Coulson and Mark Johnstone.

Transporting party-goers back to an era filled with timeless hands-in-the-air anthems in Arena 3’s Angels Reunion takeover, a true feel-good celebration of music that once filled the legendary Burnley night out.

It will be led by the sounds of Stu Allen, with Rob Tissera and Matt Bell also on hand to place a firm emphasis on a care-free evening of unmatched euphoria. Bringing a special selection of guests, including Grant Holmes, Marc Mackender, Liam Boult and Mick Clarke, this arena will ensure the raucous crowd reach fever pitch levels of excitement to round off what is truly shaping up as one of summer 2020’s most unmissable events.

Retro in the Park will run from 1am to 11pm in Towneley Park, Burnley on Saturday, July 4. For details, visit www.skiddle.com
