SATURDAY, January 24, 2015 will be a day forever etched in the memories of Bradford City supporters.

This was the day they achieved the impossible, the ultimate upset; they beat the then Premier League table-toppers, managed by the 'Special One' Jose Mourinho.

Goals from Jon Stead, Filipe Morais, Andy Halliday and Mark Yeates were enough to seal a comeback against a side featuring star names including Didier Drogba and Mohamed Salah.

The FA Cup fourth round victory sent shockwaves through the world of football, as City would go on to beat Sunderland before being knocked out after a replay by Reading at the quarter-final stage.

Now fans can relive this special afternoon in West London in West Yorkshire when Valley Parade hosts a night of celebration this Sunday.

'The Magic of the Cup' sees the Bantams celebrate the anniversary of one of their most memorable days.

The event, held in association with the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, will take place between 6pm and 9.30pm.

The evening's entertainment will include a one-course meal, special auction and raffle alongside City legends.

Fans loved the game so much it was voted the Bantams' game of the decade in the Telegraph & Argus last month.

But who will be in attendance from that fateful day for the night of celebration. Here are just a few names on the guest list:

Stephen Darby: Captain Fantastic. The right-back lead by example throughout his five years in the claret and amber in his 194 appearances. Darby moved to Bolton Wanderers until he retired in September 2018 aged 29 after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

Phil Parkinson: The mastermind behind the upset. 'Parky' as he was affectionately known by City fans. Parkinson worked his magic to guide the Bantams from 2-0 down after 38 minutes to eventually win 4-2. His opposite number on the day, Mourinho, entered the City dressing room after the game and shook the hand of every player as a sign of his respect. He managed the club for five years until the summer of 2016 when he left for Bolton Wanderers and is now manager of fellow League One side Sunderland.

He will be accompanied on Sunday by assistant manager Steve Parkin and goalkeeper coach Lee Butler, who have both followed him to Sunderland.

James Hanson: He may not have scored on that fateful day at Stamford Bridge, but he will always be a folk hero at Valley Parade. The frontman scored 77 goals in 283 appearances for City until he moved to Sheffield United in 2017. He currently plays for fellow League Two outfit Grimsby Town.

Rory McArdle: The Northern Ireland international let his frustrations boil over when City were 1-0 down as he got booked in the 23rd minute. But he and his side recovered from this early setback to pull off the shock. He was Bradford City's 2014-15 Player of the Year and went on to make 183 appearances in five years with the club until he moved to his current club Scunthorpe United.

Billy Knott: The midfielder played 80 minutes against Chelsea before making way for goalscorer Mark Yeates. Knott later described this as the greatest achievement of his career. After the game, he received a signed shirt from Blues captain John Terry, which he passed on to his Chelsea-supporting father. He was released at the end of the 2015-16 season and currently plays for Chelmsford City.

Mark Yeates: Put the icing on the cake of the cup upset with his 94th-minute strike after coming on as a substitute 10 minutes from time. He scored five goals in 70 appearances for City during his two-year spell. He currently plays for Fylde.

Filipe Morais: He set up the grandstand finish with his 75th-minute equaliser. Speaking to the Telegraph & Argus in November 2017, Morais said: "Scoring and winning was mind-blowing and it will be hard to beat as the most special day in my career." He scored five goals in 54 appearances from 2014 to 2017 before moving to Bolton. He is currently on loan at Oldham from Crawley.

Jon Stead: His 41st-minute strike got the ball rolling for the comeback against Chelsea. He was on loan at City that season and scored six goals in 32 games. He moved to Notts County and now plays for non-league Harrogate Town.

Ben Williams: The goalkeeper from the day will also be at Sunday's event. The Manchester United trainee made 57 appearances for City between 2014 and 2016. He played for Bolton Wanderers last season.

Gary Liddle: The centre-back midfielder will also attend Sunday's event. He was in the starting line-up against Chelsea. He enjoyed a two-year spell at Valley Parade between 2014 and 2016, making 61 appearances.

Line-ups: Chelsea: Petr Čech, Gary Cahill, César Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen, John Obi Mikel, Ramires, Oscar, Didier Drogba (c), Loïc Rémy, Mohamed Salah. Substitutes: Cesc Fàbregas, Willian, Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, Nathan Aké, John Terry.
