AN Ulverston man has been told to pay almost £300 after breaking the terms of his curfew.
Stephen Thornley, of North Lonsdale Road, pleaded guilty to failing to stick to the curfew hours on three occasions when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The 57-year-old admitted not being at home at 7.44pm and 11.12pm on November 4 and at 10.10pm on November 7.
Thornley, who was represented in court by Liz Phizacklea, was fined £120 and ordered to pay £162 in court costs.
The £282 will be deducted from his benefits.
