SITE: Tesco Extra at Cornerhouse Retail Park in Barrow
TESCO is installing two electric car charging points at its Barrow Extra store.
The grocery giant has submitted a planning application to install an LCD media charging point and flag poles at the supermarket in Cornerhouse Retail Park.
The charging points are being installed in conjunction with Pod Point and Volkswagen.
If permission is granted the charging points will be installed towards the far end of the car park near to Cornmill Crossing.
A decision is set to be made within six weeks.
