REPAIRS: Resurfacing work in Market Street in Dalton
HIGHWAYS engineers have 'finally' resurfaced a painful pothole in Dalton.
A team was in Market Street this afternoon patching the large section of damaged road surface just outside the Pie Shop.
One motorist, who works in Dalton town centre, said: "It's been like this for ages, since well before Christmas, so thank goodness they've finally got round to doing it.
"It's bad enough in Market Street with drivers thinking only one car at a time can pass through the narrower speed bump sections."
