SIX mums who met at a business event have united to put together a fun day to help Teardrops Homeless Support Hub this Christmas.

All six mums run classes for children and their families in St Helens and surrounding areas and kept in touch to offer each other advice and support after meeting in August.

After deciding to thank their customers and help Teardrops at the same time, they came up with the idea to host a Christmas Party at Gamble Hall, City Gardens.

All those attending the party will be donating a toy for a child and several local businesses have donated prizes for a raffle to raise further funds for the charity.

Father Christmas has even agreed to visit bringing a gift for each child attending.

The mums who put this together are; Helen from MessyDays, Leanne from Fitness Beyond the Bump, Kellie from Pitter Patter Tots, Louise from Our Time - Sensory baby, Lorna from Jiggy Wrigglers and Liz from Tumble Tots.

Helen said: “We wanted to do something to say thank you to our families for the support they have shown us.

"We felt it was also the perfect opportunity to spread some kindness and support a local charity.

"It is important now more than ever to think about those less fortunate than us and I find it heartbreaking that so many children and families won’t have a permanent home at Christmas.

"We hope that we can help in a small way to bring them some Christmas magic.”

The event will take place from 10am to 11.30am and 12.30pm to 2pm.
