Michaelson Road Bridge
A MAIN road in Barrow is set to be temporarily closed to allow engineers to carry out a bridge inspection.
Cumbria County Council's highways department has published details of the upcoming road closure.
The A5087, at The Strand, is set to be closed between the hours of 10am and 1pm on December 11.
A spokesman for the council said: "Temporary road closure of the A5087, The Strand, Barrow-in-Furness, due to start 11th December 2019, for a duration of 1 day from 10:00 to 13:00, to enable Cumbria County Council to carry bridge inspections."
