AN URGENT appeal has been launched for a missing 56-year-old man.

Bashir Lorgat, who is missing from his home in Blackburn, was last seen in the Burnley Road area at around 11.20 yesterday morning (October 10).

Officers have reason to believe that he requires important medication which he does not have with him.

He was last seen wearing light grey long Asian dress, a white prayer hat, a check navy/grey blazer, black shoes and glasses. He was carrying a large green holdall bag.

Aside from Blackburn, Bashir has links to Bury and Haslingden.
