POLICE and paramedics were called to a Blackburn street on Thursday evening.
Footage shot by a passenger in a car passing the scene showed police talking to two or three people sat on the pavement on Dickens Street, just outside the town centre.
Police said they were called to reports a man from Blackburn had facial injuries after being robbed in Cheetham Hill in Manchester.
The man, 42, had minor injuries and was advised to go to hospital.
At least two police cars and an ambulance were at the scene, which is close to Bennington Street, at around 6.50pm.
The passenger who filmed the incident said: "It was hard to tell what had happened but at the time it looked like someone had been hit.
"I hope they're okay if that is the case.
"There was lots of emergency vehicles there."
As of 7.30pm, officers and paramedics had left the scene.
