OLD HUTTON...

CLASS two at the primary school enjoyed a visit from the library van. It was a bit of a squash and a squeeze, but the children did appreciate having such a good story read to them.

Everybody was so keen to read their books that they sat on the pavement next to the van!

Two of the exciting new clubs that have been organised this term to support the wellbeing of the children are Forest Schools and Yoga, which the children are enjoying very much.

Thanks go to the adults who are leading and supporting these extra-curricular opportunities.
Year Two visited Growing Well at Low Sizergh Farm.

They enjoyed visiting the poly-tunnels, herb garden, milking parlour and the cows and calves.

Sharon and Amy gave their time and experience to share, support and challenge the children to connect and to notice.

FORTHCOMING Old Hutton WI events include a meeting about climate change; lunch with Edwina Currie; the annual council meeting and a quiz night.

A warm welcome is extended to join any WI meeting; they are held in the public hall on the second Tuesday of the month.
