AN INQUEST into the death of a 20-year-old woman who died in 2017 has been scheduled for three days in February.
Molly Katie Carter, a much-loved daughter, sister, friend and partner, died suddenly at her home in Burnley on August 29.
A pre-inquest review hearing, at Preston Coroner’s Court, heard how a three-day inquest will now take place in the new year.
Representatives for Molly’s family, Lancashire Care and Signet healthcare were in attendance at the hearing.
Coroner James Newman said: “The information I have is that Molly was a model young lady, but there was a decline in her presentation and the purpose of this inquest is to find out what promoted that.”
The former hairdressing student was described by friends and family as an ‘outgoing’ and ‘caring’ young woman.
Memorial events have since been held in memory of Molly, to raise awareness of mental health illness.
